In the fall of 2012 the well-known restaurant Saison in Hellerup, Copenhagen closed down and is now re-opening for the summer at Melsted Badehotel.
Saisons Sommerkøkken is characterized by the central position of the vegetables. It is the prime duty of the chefs to make every ingredient in a dish stand out with its distinctive feature.
Over the last years Bornholm has developed into a gastronomic mecca. The many small food manufacturers, the wild herbs of nature and the fresh fish from the Baltic sea have together given a solid basis for the gastronomic variety.
The 2 'Saison' chefs Peter Nøhr Christensen and Frederik Bille Brahe will be at the helm of the kitchen during the summer and based on the ingredients of Bornholm and within the scope of The 'Saison' kitchen they will create delicious dishes.
