Melsted Badehotel is a genuine seaside hotel and Bornholm's first seaside hotel from 1932. Combining classic seaside hotel idyll with Nordic minimalism, the seaside hotel exudes history and a relaxed, homely cottage atmosphere that keeps guests coming back year after year. Our newly renovated rooms are individually decorated with carefully selected references to the hotel's period of origin, including historic wallpaper, high paneling and furniture in classic Danish design. In the kitchen, we take our inspiration from the sea around us and the Bornholm landscape. Fish and shellfish are the focal point, and we work closely with local suppliers who share our respect for nature and the seasons. The catch of the day and the best seasonal ingredients set the tone for the menu and are transformed using simple techniques and great care, allowing the freshness and pure flavors of the ingredients to take center stage. You can choose between our seasonal waterfront menu or à la carte, and for lunch we serve well-prepared, light dishes inspired by the island and the coast – always with the view of the sea as a natural accompaniment.

Melsted Badehotel has an impressive 18,000 square meters of beachfront grounds full of beautiful breathing spaces where you can find time for contemplation and pampering in harmony with nature.
