The story of Melsted badehotel

Michael Almeborg buys Melsted badehotel. During the winter season of 2018/2019 & 2019/2020 needed renovation projects are completed – eg. new terraces, new roofs on three of the buildings, and new windows and doors in the restaurant in the main building.
The Hjorth Madsen family buys Melsted Badehotel and initiates interior renovations and modernization of the hotel rooms and the main building.
The Gudhjem restaurateur, Erik Noe, takes over Melsted badehotel and initiates exterior renovations, resulting in the current characteristic white buildings, blue windows, and open green areas.
Melsted badehotel’s funkis-inspired main building is being built and Klara and Lauritz Christensen opens Hotel and Pension Ellebæk. The three annexes have been built by different owners.
