Cycling accommodation

Bornholm offers plenty of outdoor activities, from hiking to angling, canoeing and cycling. The island's compact size makes it ideal for cycling, as there are many well-signposted cycling routes and distances are relatively short (a round trip along the entire coast is 105 kilometers long). It's important to remember that Bornholm's terrain is not as flat as the rest of Denmark. In fact, the northern coast and inland is quite hilly, but your extra effort will be rewarded with the outstanding views you'll experience.

Melsted Badehotel is located on one of Bornholm's most beautiful stretches between Tejn to the north, through Gudhjem and south towards Svaneke. If you feel like exploring Bornholm by bike, it is possible to rent bicycles from us at the reception.

Bicycle rental

If you are staying at Melsted Badehotel, we can rent bikes for you. We have a few of our own bicycles available for rent at the reception.

If you want to be assured of a bike or if you are a group that needs several bikes, we can also help with this from an external bike rental partner. Please contact us a few days in advance.
