Cycling Stay

Bornholm offers a wealth of outdoor activities, from hiking to fishing, canoeing, and cycling. The island's compact size makes it ideal for cycling, as there are many well-marked bike routes, and distances are relatively short (a round trip along the entire coast is 105 kilometers long). It is important to remember that Bornholm's terrain is not as flat as the rest of Denmark. In fact, the northern coast and inland areas are quite hilly, but your extra effort will be rewarded with the unique views you will experience.

Melsted Seaside Hotel is situated on one of Bornholm's most beautiful stretches between Tejn to the north, through Gudhjem, and south towards Svaneke. If you are keen to explore Bornholm by bike, it is possible to rent bicycles from us at the reception.

Bicycle Rental

If you are staying at Melsted Seaside Hotel, we can arrange bicycle rental for you. We have a few of our own bicycles available for rent; please inquire at the reception.

If you want to secure a bicycle, or if you are a group needing several bicycles, we can also assist with this through an external bicycle rental partner. Please inquire a couple of days in advance.
