SAFETY AND HEALTH
The safety of our guests and staff is our highest priority, and we therefore strictly follow official recommendations and guidelines. At Melsted Seaside Hotel, we welcome all healthy guests, but it is equally important to us that our staff are healthy. We therefore urge everyone to stay home if they experience symptoms of illness – this applies to both guests and staff.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout Melsted Seaside Hotel and is regularly used by staff as well as by our guests.
We prioritize the health and safety of our employees, and therefore we have implemented thorough routines to ensure that no one comes to work with the slightest sign of illness.
If you are considering booking a stay at Melsted Seaside Hotel, we ask you to stay home if you have symptoms such as cough, fever, or cold. The staff at Melsted Seaside Hotel reserves the right to send guests home if they show clear signs of Covid-19. We do this to protect other guests, as well as our staff.
HYGIENE AND CLEANING
We provide hand sanitizer for free use in all rooms, as well as in all common areas such as the reception, restaurant, bar, etc. We are thorough with sanitizing all surfaces in common areas, as well as cleaning toilets in common areas. Rooms are cleaned daily.
PETS AND ALLERGIES
At Melsted Seaside Hotel, we are dedicated to ensuring all our guests have a pleasant stay. We offer alternative menus for those with allergies or special dietary needs. Please contact your waiter for more information, or reach out to our restaurant via email at restaurant@melsted-badehotel.dk before your visit.
Dogs are welcome in selected rooms, out of consideration for guests with potential allergies, and are naturally always welcome to enjoy our outdoor areas.
MEETINGS AT MELSTED SEASIDE HOTEL
It is safe to hold meetings and conferences in the meeting rooms at Melsted Seaside Hotel. Our meeting room is kept separate from other guests' movements within the hotel.

To ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we follow the guidelines below:
- Hand sanitizer is available for free use in all rooms.
- Tables, chairs, crockery, and office supplies will be disinfected upon arrival.
- Each participant will receive a notepad, ballpoint pen, and pencil. If other office supplies are desired, please inquire at reception.
- Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and directed to your meeting room. Here, we will review the day's program and catering arrangements.
- All catering throughout the day will be served in individual portions. If you wish to have lunch outdoors, we can arrange picnic baskets for you to take with you.
GENERAL ADVICE
We encourage all our guests to protect themselves and others from infection by following the recommendations of the health authorities.
- Wash hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 30 seconds. Use hand sanitizer as a supplement.
- Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth
- Stay home if you are sick
- Elderly and chronically ill – maintain distance and ask others to be considerate
- Always cough and sneeze into your sleeve or a paper tissue
