At Restaurant Melsted Badehotel, taste, service and atmosphere come together. The restaurant is located a few steps from the waterfront within walking distance to Gudhjem. Here you can experience classic quality craftsmanship prepared from seasonal local ingredients. The restaurant is decorated in light Nordic shades with elegant references to the seaside hotel's period of origin in the 1930s.

At Restaurant Melsted Badehotel you can satisfy your senses with honest and tasty food. The cuisine is based on the rich Bornholm pantry, following classic Nordic-French traditions. For lunch you can enjoy our innovative open sandwiches and a selection of daily specials. In the evening, you can choose between our 4- and 8-course waterside menu.
Our menus are based on local seasonal ingredients. Troels and Daniel have conjured up the best from Denmark and the European markets for our waterside menu. And if you're staying at the beach hotel, you can also choose our 3-course hotel menu or the daily specials, which change daily and according to the season. Please let us know if you have any special requests in advance, and we can make most things possible.
The breakfast buffet also varies daily with fresh fruit, berries, local specialties, homemade pastries and small hot dishes.
Opening hours: Morning: 8-10 a.m., Lunch: 12-2:30 p.m., Evening: 6-9 p.m.
Badehotel & Restaurant is open weekends in April and then every day until October 31st.
Pure Pampering
The dining experience is an important part of your stay at Melsted Badehotel. We are therefore thrilled that we have been able to gather an experienced team to run the restaurant with Troels Madsen and Daniel Kruse at the helm.
Troels and Daniel are known from both Det Røde Pakhus, Molen and former Christianshøjkroen here on the island and both have years of experience in the high gastronomic kitchen. Their in-depth knowledge of Bornholm's pantry is expressed in exciting menus and blackboard dishes that vary daily and according to the season.
The most important thing for Troels, Daniel and their team is to deliver the complete good experience, where good food, wine, service and relaxed atmosphere come together to make both hotel guests and locals feel welcome.
