BORNHOLM BY CAR

Once planned, it takes about 3 hours by car/ferry to get to Bornholm from Copenhagen via the Bornholmslinjen fast ferry from Ystad to Rønne. During the summer period there are up to 8 departures from Ystad and Rønne. Click here for the Bornholmslinjen schedule and/or to book your ferry ticket.

BORNHOLM BY BUS

The Kombardo Express runs from Aalborg, Aarhus and Copenhagen to Rønne. For departures from Jutland, there is a bus change in Copenhagen. The terminus for the Kombardo Express is Rønne Færgeterminal.

On Bornholm you can get around the island by public buses (BAT). The local bus routes stop right outside the hotel. The northbound route runs towards Allinge and Hammershus Ruin while the southbound bus runs along the south coast via Svaneke, Nexø and Dueodde towards Rønne.

Gudhjem is just a single bus stop away on the route north, while Svaneke is a 15-minute bus ride south from Melsted. Both are beautiful old towns that should be visited.

BORNHOLM BY PLANE

With a travel time of only about 30 minutes from Kastrup to Bornholm, the island is the perfect place to recharge your batteries on a long weekend or to get away from the hamster wheel of everyday life for a few days.

DAT flies daily from Copenhagen to Rønne and the trip takes about 30 minutes. There are flights from Billund and Aalborg 2-4 times a week from April to October
